ABOUT SCOTT

A California native born in San Francisco and raised on the peninsula. My first culinary job was working for the legendary Evelyn “Ma” Young the director of the food service at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Ma Young was a hard-working no-nonsense super cook. Being the youngest member of the kitchen staff, I was assigned the honor to deliver the dessert to his highness, King Carl Gustav. It was an awesome experience then and an amazing honor and memory now. So many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting while working and earning a living. I believe gratitude is more than a once-a-year event, I am grateful every day for the opportunities that are here and the ones I am about to receive.
