Excited to share my passion for cooking and good food, the culinary journey started in 1982. Along the way I have learned about the unique traditions and inspiring flavors that are abundant and unique to the Bay Area. Originally in San Carlos then Palo Alto we now operate form the dream kitchen located in Los Altos. Thriving and meeting fantastic people- earning the opportunity to cater to some of the exciting companies that shape our valley, we feel absolutely fortunate. I recall back in 1991 the first time I wheeled the food cart through the doors of General Magic to cater the first of many dinners and events. The relaxed layout, creativity in flow at each corner, rabbits roaming around the office, pool table and pinball machines in the offices were all new and surprising. Young friendly engineers gathering around to enjoy the evening meal. General Magic's people were young, energetic with futuristic ideas and products. These diverse multicultural techies at GM demanded wholesome food that was good for the body and the mind. Their energy, enthusiasm and creative zeal inspired us to try always to be better and improve our craft by uncovering new foods and flavors. Now moving into our Third decade of business, I realize much has changed but our original principles, passion and philosophy still remains the same. We are dedicated to making people happy through our food, with boundless enthusiasm we look forward to each event and with unswerving dedication we welcome the opportunity to be of service to our community. As ever, with passion we work and in truth and fairness we believe.

Westfresh Catering provides onsite | off site full service catering. We customize menus to cater to every dietary and budgetary requirement. Breakfast | lunch and dinners, events of all types, daily food service program for small to mid-size local companies, we can help with all of your food service needs. We are committed to bringing you healthful and environmentally friendly product by participating in community supported Agriculture. At Westfresh we are fully committed to providing our clients with highest quality of food and service. All food service handlers at our kitchen have passed the NATIONAL REGISTRY OF FOOD SAFETY PROFESSIONAL FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION EXAM. Fully insured and licensed.

About Scott

A California native born in San Francisco and raised on the peninsula. My first culinary job was working for the legendary Evelyn "Ma" Young the director of food service at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Ma Young was hard working no nonsense super cook. When King Carl Gustav King of Sweden visited the college, Ma Young rallied her troupes and served a banquet dinner for 2000 people in an unbelievable time of 19 minutes! Being the youngest member of the kitchen staff, I got to deliver the dessert to his highness King Carl Gustav, it was an awesome experience then and an amazing honor and memory now. In 1985 I started my catering company and went from chef to caterer. So many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting while working and earning a living, all have inspired me to continuously learn and better my craft. I believe gratitude is more than a once-a-year event, I am grateful everyday for the opportunities that are here and those I am about to receive.
